Description:

Leads, directs and coordinates the day-to-day management of the project.

Duties:

  • Develop a high performance team through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. Ensure regular feedback is shared with staff including timely completion of employee performance appraisals.
  • Understand and administer Kesar’s contract and subcontract agreements.
  • Foster and enhance owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.
  • Establish, update, and communicate Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.
  • May work with preconstruction team in development of project.
  • Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to insure adherence to project budget.
  • Manage the quality assurance/quality control program.
  • Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements throughout the business unit.
  • Manage and oversee field operation and engineering processes and procedures.
  • Drive competencies to team on requirements for insurance, labor relations, and employee relations.
  • Drive enforcement of safety protocols by the project staff.
  • Work with Accounting to initiate pay application process and follow up to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.
  • Keep management informed on progress of project and budget through regularly scheduled Operation Review Meetings.
  • Support and drive utilization of various Kesar initiatives and technologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of ten years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles. Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite. Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule. Ability to implement leading-edge technologies such as BIM and LEAN to benefit the project. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Description:

The Field Engineer position will be assigned to the field operations team and will assist in obtaining, evaluating and coordinating all information needed to construct the project in accordance with the contract documents and to assure that the work meets all safety standards, is within schedule requirements, and is constructed to the highest level of quality possible. The Field Engineer in the performance of its duties shall be responsible for the protection and promotion of the interest of Kesar and all matters.

Duties:

  • Perform line and grade work for building layout and control as required.
  • Assist in the implementation of the site safety program as required and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
  • Assist in the maintenance of contract documents and electronic web based documents for field operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily construction reports (DCR’s).
  • Review all work as it is being placed to be sure it is accurate within accepted tolerances.
  • Review contract drawings, specifications and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation.
  • Assist in the preparation of project as builts.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

Four-year college degree with formal engineering or architectural training or equivalent building construction experience and summer internship/co-op experience in construction highly desirable. Must have good interpersonal and teamwork skills, desire to learn, ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing, proficient with computer applications as required to perform responsibilities. A basic understanding scheduling programs preferred.
